AWS are happy to quote for baled cardboard.
Detailed below is the typical specification we would expect to see for the cardboard.
- All bales must be solid, well compacted and square
- Uniform bale size - ideally 1.1 X 1.0 X 0.8m
- Bale weight 400kg or greater
- Load weight minimum 22 tonnes
- Wire-tied is essential - Plastic Strapping, String or Rope is NOT acceptable
- Bales must be bound by a minimum of 3 good, evenly spaced bailing wires.
- Bales must be capable of being stacked at least 4 high with no other support (ie no pallets, etc)
- Contents must be clean KLS with no contamination.
- MUST NOT include cereal boxes, egg boxes, laminated / coated materials, etc
